I want to point out that our Sweeten contractor executed the majority of the renovation while we were on vacation in a different time zone. He would share photos, give frequent updates, answer questions when asked. And while i had a neighbor available to answer any questions about the building or be available to assist, he was barely needed. Its amazing to have a renovation completed from afar while on vacation and not be stressed about the results.

This was our first time needing a general contractor and because our project was large we were immobilized about how to go about it. In expressing my woes to a friend he mentioned Sweeten to us having just seen it on the national news. We contacted them and because we were so new we weren't even sure what sorts of things being asked on their website. I simply wrote an email to Sweeten explaining that I was scared and confused and they patiently talked me through each step and made the process. I was convinced I was likely the dumbest person Sweeten had encountered but they were patient with me and explained everything until I understood it. At the end of our first phone conversation they had replaced my trepidation with excitement for what we were going to accomplish. During the process, Sweeten kept in touch with me checking in by email often and always ready to talk with me by phone if necessary. Knowing Sweeten had my back was very comforting. Although we didn't need any mediation between us and our GC, it was good to know that it was there just in case.
